Mo Zelle

Mo draws from her many years of work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages to find and explain approaches that really work. 

ABOUT Mo

Maureen (“Mo”) Zelle is a 30-year veteran educator. She approaches coaching from a family-centered stance, providing real-world strategies with warmth and a sense of humor. Mo draws from her many years of work with neurodivergent individuals of all ages to find and explain approaches that really work. During her expansive career in education, she has coached hundreds of students with autism and ADHD, and their caregivers. Mo is naturally drawn to coaching and finds great satisfaction in helping others find their path forward.

 

Mo has a Master's in Education from Grand Valley State University and an undergraduate degree in Special Education from Central Michigan University. She specializes in autism and has extensive knowledge in the area of sensory processing. Along with teaching and seeing private clients, Mo co-authored the book Practical Strategies for Supporting Emotional Regulation, published in 2018. She has presented on this topic locally and nationally, helping professionals and parents understand strategies to support neurodivergent individuals to feel calm and available for learning and engagement. 

 

Mo recently moved back to her native Michigan after living in Colorado for 9 years. She enjoys painting in her art studio and spending time with her two dogs. She is also a mom to a 23-year-old son, who lives in Denver.
